Miniature Schnauzers & Friends Rescue a Non-Profit Pet Rescue Organization located in South Bay Los Angeles area. We primarily rescue miniature schnauzers but also have other dogs for adoption The alert, hardworking Standard Schnauzer is a dapper fellow, with his whiskered chin and bold eyebrows. Standard Schnauzers originally worked as versatile farm dogs who could manage the rodent population, guard the land, and herd cattle. Today, their skills are harnessed for search and rescue, drug and bomb sniffing, and therapy work.

The Giant Schnauzer is a large, powerful, compact dog. It looks like a larger version of the Standard Schnauzer. The dogs height is the same as the length, giving it a square look. The head is strong and rectangular in appearance. The muzzle is the same length as the top of the head. The stop is slight. The large nose is black.
